S&R Associates and TTA have helped Data Infrastructure Trust to secure approval from the Competition Commission of India for its proposed INR165 billion (USD2 billion) full acquisition of ATC Telecom Infrastructure.
TTA advised ATC on the transaction, while S&R Associates represented Data Infrastructure Trust, which is sponsored by an affiliate of Brookfield Asset Management.
S&R’s head of competition practice Simran Dhir led the advisory team on the 100% acquisition, with the assistance of partner Akshat Kulshrestha and associates Anuja Agarwal, Rohin Goyal and Sehaj Mahajan.
TTA joint managing partner Gautam Saha led the team with corporate partners Swati Chauhan and Harshit Chandra, and competition partner Sonam Mathur. Managing associates Ambika Sahai, Akshita Alok and Shubhang Joshi, and associates Farhan Shehab and Aditi Somani also assisted the team.
ATC, a subsidiary of American Tower Corporation, is a prominent telecommunications infrastructure service provider in India.
