S&R Associates has advised Tata Communications, a publicly listed telecommunications company, on the INR4.58 billion (USD53 million) sale of a digital services business to its wholly owned subsidiary, Novamesh, which provides IT-enabled and related services.

Tata Communications, formerly known as Videsh Sanchar Nigam, is an Indian telecommunications giant. Prior to its acquisition by the Tata Group in 2008, the company was government-owned and operated under the Department of Telecommunications, Ministry of Communications and the Indian government.
