Veritas Legal has promoted Nainaaz Irani and Rohini Jaiswal as partners, bringing the firm’s total to 15.
Irani has more than 11 years of experience in real estate and has been with the firm for over eight years. She advises both domestic and international clients on complex real estate transactions across India.
In addition to due diligence and transaction documentation, Irani’s practice includes private equity investments in commercial real estate, where she guides clients on structuring, documentation and execution. Her expertise also extends to private client matters, offering support on multi-layered personal and commercial arrangements.
Jaiswal, who has been with the firm for more than seven years, works on civil and commercial litigation. She focuses on commercial contracts, white-collar crime and labour-related disputes, and represents clients in institutional and ad hoc arbitrations, both internationally and domestically.
Her work spans contentious matters, including but not restricted to disputes involving town planning, environmental laws, regulatory action, disciplinary proceedings for professional misconduct, constitutional and public interest litigation, company law, insolvency and bankruptcy, and intellectual property.
