Roshan D’Souza has joined Saga Legal as a partner at the Bengaluru office to bolster the firm’s disputes and financial regulatory practice.
D’Souza brings more than two decades of experience in debt recovery, securitisation, insolvency and bankruptcy law. His practice encompasses a broad range of contentious matters, including financial disputes, insolvency proceedings, commercial litigation, regulatory matters and arbitration.
D’Souza was previously a senior counsel at AstorMueller. Having worked in-house with Reliance Infrastructure and Reliance Capital, he brings a strong commercial perspective of how businesses assess risk, make strategic decisions and approach disputes.
He has appeared extensively before the Bombay High Court, debt recovery tribunals and the , and has advised a range of complex, high-value matters. His practice also includes commercial arbitration and regulatory proceedings before authorities such as the Reserve Bank of India and the Securities and Exchange Board of India.
