RentoMojo first web furniture subscription firm to file for IPO

TT&A, Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas, Trilegal and Hogan Lovells is acting on RentoMojo’s IPO bid, hoping to raise USD16 million, and becomes the first online furniture and appliances subscription business to file for a listing in India.

Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas is acting as domestic legal counsel for RentoMojo and the company’s promoter. Partners Vishal Yaduvanshi and Gayathri Ramachandran are leading the transaction team, with the assistance of associates Surya Rajkumar, Anna Kallivayalil, Zubin Ronnie, Maria Palamattom and Aarya Maheshwari.

RentoMojo filed its draft red herring propectus with the Securities and Exchange Board of India on 31 March 2026.

TT&A acted for the bookrunning lead managers: Motilal Oswal Investment Advisors, Axis Capital and IIFL Capital Services (formerly IIFL Securities). Partner Abhinav Kumar is leading the transaction team, with the support of managing associate Shubham Sancheti, as well as associates Abhishek Iyer, Daniyal Khan, Harsh Shekhar and Vinit Bachwani, and paralegal Yash Bhandari.

The offering comprises a fresh share issue and an offer for sale of up to 28,399,567 equity shares by certain existing shareholders. RentoMojo is the largest online rental and subscription platform for home furniture and appliances in India, based on live subscribers.

The Trilegal Bengaluru branch is advising the investor selling shareholders, while Hogan Lovells is serving as international legal counsel to the bookrunning lead managers.

The Hogan Lovells team is led by managing partner (Dubai) Biswajit Chatterjee, with support from counsel Varun Jetly, and senior associate Aditya Rajput.

RentoMojo has been backed by marquee institutional investors, including Accel India IV (Mauritius), ValueQuest SCALE Fund, Edelweiss Discovery Fund – Series I, Chiratae Growth Fund I and IDG Ventures India Fund III.
