Ashwin Sapra has joined Trilegal as an equity partner in its corporate practice, strengthening the firm’s life sciences and healthcare capabilities.
Sapra brings more than 25 years of domestic and international experience advising clients across the healthcare, pharmaceutical, medical devices, diagnostics and life sciences sectors.
His appointment takes Trilegal’s partnership strength to 151.
Sapra, previously a partner at Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas (CAM), was head of the pharmaceuticals, medical devices, healthcare and life sciences practice. He is also the legal counsel for the Austrian Embassy.
Speaking about his move, Sapra said, “The healthcare sector in India is at an important stage of growth, with increased investment activity and regulatory engagement.
