Anjali Menon has rejoined Poovayya & Co as a partner in the corporate practice at the Bengaluru office after nine years of operating her own firm.
Menon brings more than a decade of experience in corporate and commercial law.
She had worked for more than four and a half years at Poovayya & Co in Bengaluru before founding Express Law in 2017. Nine years later, she has returned to the firm as a partner.
Menon will focus on employment law and workplace compliance. She advises both corporate and individual clients on complex employment matters, with expertise on managing inquiries into sexual harassment complaints.
She guides internal committees on regulatory requirements and serves as an external member on such committees for corporate clients.
Additionally, Menon specialises in drafting and negotiating a wide range of commercial contracts, including master service agreements, outsourcing arrangements, franchise agreements and distribution contracts, while also advising founders on early-stage funding and capital raising during the initial phases of the startup lifecycle.
