Three firms advise on SarvaGram securing USD65m in funding

IndusLaw has counselled rural-focused digital lending firm SarvaGram in raising USD65 million from its series D funding round.

Peak XV Partners led the investment in the funding round, which included SarvaGram’s existing investors such as Elevar Equity, Elevation Capital, Temasek and TVS Capital.

The IndusLaw transaction team comprised partner Stuti Agarwal, senior associate Surbhi Joshi and associate Krithika Bhandari. Executive director Ruhi Jain, manager Praveen Hegde and senior executive Adarsh Joshi handled the corporate secretarial aspects of the transaction.

Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas represented Peak XV Partners, Elevar Equity, Elevation Capital and TVS Capital, while JSA acted for Temasek.

Established in 2019, SarvaGram offers credit to small businesses and aspiring middle-class households in rural areas.
