Amrita Tonk has rejoined CMS IndusLaw as part of the firm’s employment, investigations, and anti-bribery and anti-corruption practice in the Delhi and NCR offices.
Earlier, Tonk was head of legal (north) at Godrej Properties.
Earlier service in the judiciary bolstered Tonk’s experience, which spans litigation, investigations and employment law.
She advises organisations on employment issues, including workforce disputes, internal investigations, employee misconduct, regulatory compliance and workplace policy enforcement.
She supports Indian and multinational companies on whistle-blower investigations, termination of senior management, and matters involving workplace culture, governance and compliance.
From 2013 to 2018, Tonk served as a metropolitan magistrate in Delhi, presiding over the trials at Patiala House and Tis Hazari courts complexes.
