Withers KhattarWong has strengthened its dispute resolution capabilities with the appointment of partner Pardeep Singh Khosa as head of litigation in Singapore.
Khosa highlighted three key trends in the region’s dispute resolution landscape: the rising complexity of cross-border disputes, increased litigation driven by geopolitical tensions, and a growing shift towards alternative dispute resolution. “Businesses are increasingly wary of being drawn into complex and costly disputes and are seeking efficient and cost-effective ways to resolve disputes,” Khosa told Asia Business Law Journal.
Khosa was previously a partner at Morgan, Lewis & Bockius and a director at Davinder Singh Chambers. In 2008, he worked as a director at Drew & Napier for more than 10 years. He has experience in commercial and civil litigation, international arbitration, and corporate crime and investigations. His expertise spans industries such as construction, engineering, infrastructure, shipping, oil and gas, and civil fraud, among other matters.
Shashi Nathan, joint managing partner of Withers KhattarWong, emphasised the importance of Khosa’s role in cross-border litigation. “It is essential that our clients receive not just sound legal advice but also tailored solutions that align with their broader business objectives.”
Withers KhattarWong’s recent expansion includes the addition of partner Gary Beh to its corporate practice this month.
