Vikram Sobti, one of the co-founders of Chandhiok & Mahajan, has rejoined the firm as head of the real estate practice at the Delhi office.
Sobti began his legal career at Luthra and Luthra Law Offices and only left to establish Chandhiok & Mahajan. During his initial tenure, he built the firm’s dispute resolution practice.
In 2023, he transitioned to an in-house role as general counsel at Emaar India, where he oversaw strategic litigation, regulatory engagement and major real estate deals. He gained deep insight into commercial priorities, operational risk and legal execution in the real estate sector.
Sobti’s experience in private practice and in-house roles, has led to him spearheading high-value real estate transactions, complex commercial disputes, and large-scale regulatory strategy.
