Nishtha Kumar has joined Saga Legal as a partner in its litigation and dispute resolution practice, and will be based at the firm’s New Delhi office.
Kumar will lead Saga Legal’s regulatory disputes practice, with a primary focus on electricity and aviation matters. She will also play a key role in the firm’s commercial litigation and arbitration work.
She honed her career skills at leading law firms, including JSA, Trilegal and SKV Law Offices, as well as her independent practice under NK Law. She has advised and represented a broad range of clients, including major electricity sector conglomerates and airline companies, in complex disputes before the Supreme Court of India, various high courts, arbitral tribunals and sectoral regulators.
Her experience includes handling high-value and sensitive matters involving tariff disputes, changes in law and force majeure claims, along with a wide range of corporate and commercial disputes.
