Three law firms have advised on Multiples Private Equity’s sale of part of its holding in Vastu Housing Finance, a pan-India diversified lending institution, to TA FDI Investors for an undisclosed amount.
IndusLaw partner Aakash Dasgupta led the transaction team advising Multiples Private Equity, which had support from principal associate Jaidrath Zaveri, senior associates Siddharth Malakar and Aditya Kumar, and associate Anshul Bhuwalka. Founding partner Kartik Ganapathy, gave comprehensive legal guidance throughout the transaction.
AZB & Partners advised TA FDI Investors and Mandala Law Offices counselled Vastu Housing Finance, which provides secured long tenor mortgage products to self-employed customers in semi-urban and rural India.
The transaction aims to streamline Multiples Private Equity’s investment portfolio and allows TA FDI Investors to expand its footprint in the Indian financial services sector.
