MZM Legal has appointed Purazar Fauzdar as a new partner, joining MZM Legal’s Mumbai office, along with his team of two. They will strengthen the firm’s dispute resolution and real estate practice.
Fauzdar brings extensive experience in arbitration, litigation and technology law. He has advised and represented clients in a wide range of complex domestic and international disputes.
He has been working in emerging areas of technology law, including disputes relating to blockchain and cryptocurrencies.
Before joining MZM Legal, Fauzdar held senior positions at ANM Law and JSA, where he led high-profile matters across multiple sectors.
MZM also announced the promotion of Nadiya Sarguroh and Chirag Naik to the partnership.
Sarguroh brings a versatile practice spanning arbitration, banking and insolvency, corporate advisory, and media and entertainment law. Naik’s practice focuses on white-collar defence, regulatory investigations, compliance and cyber-related matters.
