The Indonesian Corporate Counsel Association (ICCA) sat down with a Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) unit on 22 April 2025 in Jakarta, fostering anti-corruption efforts in the private sector.
The meeting with the Anti-Corruption for Business Entities (AKBU) unit marked the formal introduction of the ICCA to strategic co-operation between the two institutions.
AKBU director Aminudin welcomed the delegation led by Tri Junanto Wicaksono, head of inter-institutional relations, advocacy and policy at the ICCA.
The discussion highlighted corporate integrity systems and embedding preventive mechanisms within business operations. Aminudin outlined the AKBU’s role in strengthening anti-corruption awareness across the private sector, noting the increasing trend of business entities being implicated in corruption cases.
The ICCA reaffirmed its commitment to supporting ethical business practices through legal leadership. “The ICCA is committed to supporting the corruption prevention agenda, including through training and advocacy co-operation in bribery-prone policies,” Wicaksono said.
The meeting concluded with a mutual expression of interest in joint initiatives, including training programmes and anti-corruption awareness campaigns.
