Fox Mandal & Associates and JSA counselled on leading technology enabled revenue cycle management (RCM) provider GeBBS Healthcare Solutions’ acquisition of India-based peer RND OptimizAR for an undisclosed amount.
JSA partner Anand Lakra led the transaction team, with support from partners Niharika Mepani, principal associates Ami Shah and Jinay Shah, senior associate Anamika Ballewar, as well as associates Pranjal Shorey, Janhavi Jagtap, Rahi Barfiwala and Viraja Shah.
Partner Yajas Setlur led the employment and data privacy team, while partner Shareen Gupta led the indirect tax team.
Fox Mandal & Associates advised the sellers, including RND Softech, Lakshmi Deepika Karthikeyan and RND OptimizAR. The transaction and due diligence team comprised senior partner Jeeva Rajagoppal, as well as associates Shruthi Sekar, Ajay Kumaran B, Taruna Raju and Aishwarya Surana and trainee associate Rifan Mohideen.
The team worked on all aspects of the transaction, including structuring, negotiation, documentation, execution and closing. The transaction represented a strategic alignment of complementary capabilities, combining RND OptimizAR’s specialised expertise in the durable and home medical equipment segments with GeBBS’ global scale and AI-driven, technology-led RCM platform, the firm said.
GeBBS Healthcare Solutions also provides risk adjustment solutions for healthcare providers and payers, while RND OptimizAR is an India-based specialised provider of RCM services for the durable and home medical equipment market.
