DMD acts for GE India Industrial on energy demerger

DMD Advocates is representing GE India Industrial before the (NCLT) in New Delhi seeking approval for the demerger of its energy businesses.

This demerger is part of a broader global strategy by New York Stock Exchange-listed General Electric Company, the parent of GE India Industrial. The demerger is slated to divide its operations into three focused entities comprising aviation, healthcare and energy. The restructuring aims to enhance operational efficiency in each sector.

The core transaction team consisted of senior partner Rashi Dhir, partners Pawan Sharma and Pallavi Puri, and principal associates Anuj Shah and Rishabh Sharma.
