Firms steer Blackstone’s USD1.2 bn investment in Neysa

TT&A, Trilegal and Gibson Dunn & Crutcher advised parties on Blackstone’s USD1.2 billion investment in Neysa.

Neysa is an AI infrastructure platform in India. TT&A advised Neysa and Nexus Venture Partners. The TT&A team was led by partner Gautam Saha and partner Punita Gupta, with support from senior associate Shambhavi Singh and associates Sangita Sharma and Sajjan Singh.

The funding will support Neysa’s planned expansion, including the deployment of more than 20,000 graphic processing units across India.

The round is expected to be the largest fundraise by an AI-native startup in India and coincides with the AI Impact Summit this week.

Other equity investors in the transaction include TVS Capital, 360 ONE Assets and Nexus Venture Partners. DC Advisory acted as the lead financial adviser to Neysa.

Trilegal acted Indian legal counsel, while Gibson Dunn & Crutcher acted as international legal counsel to Blackstone.
