Amitabh Sharma, previously a partner at Khaitan & Co and managing partner at HSA Associates, has rejoined JSA as a partner at the firm’s Gurugram office.
With more than 25 years of experience, Sharma advises on mergers and acquisitions, general corporate, private equity, projects and financing matters. He also serves as an independent director on the executive boards of several listed and unlisted Indian companies.
Sharma has advised a broad spectrum of clients, which includes multinational corporations, multilateral and bilateral agencies, financial institutions, banks and non-banking financial companies, private equity funds, and both public and private sector entities.
His work has included advising clients on India entry and divestment strategies, and leading numerous cross-border transactions involving jurisdictions such as the US, Canada, Australia, Brazil, Indonesia, South Africa and Mozambique.
