Kuala Lumpur-based law firm Zul Rafique & Partners has counselled Malaysian telecom company TM Technology Services on its MYR2.4 billion (USD472 million) 10-year partnership with 5G wholesale operator U Mobile.
TM was appointed as U Mobile’s nationwide fibre backhaul provider to boost the rollout of Malaysia’s next generation 5G network.
Zul Rafique’s communications and multimedia partner Darren Kor Yit Meng, with support from associates Khoo Shi Yuan and Lee Chloee, led the firm’s team.
The partnership was formalised on 26 May at a signing ceremony attended by YB Datuk Fahmi Fadzil, minister of communications.
