Energy-focused Sunshine Law Firm has set up a branch in Chongqing, its fourth in China, with a team of more than 10 members to tap regional development opportunities.
This new branch will specialise in green bonds, tax compliance, restructuring and reorganisation, and dispute resolution within the energy, environmental, and infrastructure sectors.
Sunshine said Chongqing was actively promoting regional economic development by optimising its energy infrastructure, while ensuring energy security and facilitating a green, low-carbon transition. The firm chose to establish itself in Chongqing to align with national strategic objectives.
