Wintell & Co’s Beijing office adds Cai Shuaitong and Fu Liya as senior partners, who are both specialists in securities litigation and arbitration.
Cai and Fu were former partners at Fada Law Firm in Beijing. They have been representing many accounting firms in securities misrepresentation and audit-related tort cases. The duo defended an accounting firm in a renowned securities misrepresentation case involving the mainland online television company LeTV.
Cai is also a specialist in capital market disputes and has acted as a long-term legal adviser for several companies including CITIC Group, the CRRC, and China Construction Bank.
Fu, meanwhile, specialises in securities compliance and is also skilled in handling disputes over contracts and pledging of receivables.
