ALMT Legal has assisted SIDBI Venture Capital on its INR150 million (USD1.8 million) investment in Zerund Manufacturing, a company specialising in fly ash brick production using patented technology.
Senior partner Statira Ranina led the ALMT transaction team, with partner Vaishakh Kapadia and principal associate Sheetal Mishra. Associate Shivani More advised on secretarial compliance.
ALMT provided comprehensive legal guidance throughout the transaction, overseeing the review, negotiation and finalisation of deal documents, such as the share subscription agreement, shareholders’ agreement and employment agreements. The ALMT team collaborated closely with SIDBI Venture Capital, the promoters, and other key stakeholders to ensure a successful transaction.
This is Zerund’s third funding round and the investment also involved NEDFi Trustee Limited, which comes under the North Eastern Development Finance Corporation. NEDFi is a public limited company registered under the Companies Act 1956.
The funds aim to support Zerund’s expansion within 含羞草社区 northeastern region, Maharashtra, and neighbouring countries, including Bangladesh.
