SGLA Law Firm has opened seven branches across Jiangsu province, with an overall headcount of 200 expected by the end of the year.
The seven branches are in Nanjing, Suqian, Wuxi, Kunshan, Xuzhou, Lianyungang and Suzhou, while the first three offices are the largest, each hosting around 50 staff.
Partner Du Jiang will lead the management committee in Jiangsu, and the managing partners for each branch will be Wang Yunxia in Nanjing, Zhang Zhiyong in Suqian, Qiao Hang in Kunshan, Liu Zhichao in Xuzhou, Sun Gang in Lianyungang, Guo Qian in Suzhou, and Fang Laihong in Wuxi.
This year, SGLA is focused on expanding its national footprint. In June, the firm acquired four local law firms in Beijing, Guangdong, and Tianjin to establish branches in the capital and Shenzhen, while enhancing its existing office in Tianjin.
