Reynolds Porter Chamberlain (RPC) has recruited Ankit Goyal, former head of South Asia at the Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC), to lead its India desk.

He will also serve as a partner at RPC’s Singapore office, which operates as a joint law venture as RPC Premier Law.

“Ankit also brings deep experience of, and strong relationships within, the India market, positioning him well to support RPC’s expansion in the region as India continues to grow in importance as a major global economy and a key source of cross-border commercial activity,” Navin Joseph Lobo, RPC partner and head of the Singapore office, told Asia Business Law Journal.

Goyal joins from Allen & Gledhill and will be responsible for developing RPC’s India operations and driving the growth of the firm’s international arbitration practice.

He possesses more than 20 years of experience in tech, media, IP, financial services and complex commercial litigation.
