Manila-based Villaraza & Angangco (V&A Law) has promoted Rashel Ann Pomoy to senior partner.
Pomoy has been with the firm for 12 years, and serves as the deputy managing partner, deputy head of the labour and employment department, and partner in the firm’s litigation and dispute resolution department.
She advises domestic and multinational clients on employment and labour relations matters, including workplace investigations, collective bargaining, large-scale retrenchments, corporate restructurings and cross-border employment transfers.
Pomoy also has extensive experience in labour litigation before the National Labour Relations Commission, having acted in disputes involving illegal dismissal, labour-only contracting and other alleged labour law violations in the Philippines.
Recently, she has represented Amazon Operations Services Philippines, Coca-Cola Beverages Philippines, Dyson Philippines, Honda Philippines, Huawei Technologies and Vayner Media.
