Rachika Sahay has joined Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas (CAM) as a partner in its projects and infrastructure practice in the firm’s Delhi-NCR office, and brings a team of four associates.
With more than 20 years of experience, Sahay has advised on various transactions across the energy and infrastructure value chain. Her expertise spans M&A, bid advisory, project structuring, incorporation of special purpose vehicles, contract execution, land acquisition, regulatory approvals, licensing, operational matters and dispute management.
Before joining CAM, she was a partner at Argus Partners. She also served as partner at HSA Advocates, advising on complex infrastructure and energy mandates. Sahay was previously general counsel at Ostro Energy, where she led legal strategy for high-value energy projects.
At Weatherford, she held the position of head legal for India. Earlier in her career, she was with Trilegal.
Sahay has advised oil and gas majors, energy producers, manufacturers, investment firms, real estate, and infrastructure companies.
