Morgan Lewis adds partner Guo Bingna to its China office to bolster the firm’s international investigations practice.
Formerly a partner at White & Case, Guo specialises in regulatory and investigations, compliance, white-collar crime and litigation. She will be based at Morgan Lewis’s Beijing and Shanghai offices, advising technology and manufacturing companies on anti-corruption investigations and conducting compliance risk assessments.
Guo, a certified fraud examiner who is qualified in New York, has passed the China national bar examination. She used to be a partner at O’Melveny before joining White & Case.
“The global regulatory environment is becoming progressively challenging for clients to navigate, with increasingly rigorous anti-corruption requirements and other related compliance issues that present risk for most companies with global operations,” said Morgan Lewis chair Jami McKeon. “Bingna’s deep experience and presence in China will be a significant resource for our global white-collar team.”
