Legal Counsel (Investment Management)

Job Description
A leading global bank is looking to fortify their legal team in Japan.
– Provide legal advice and support to the asset management division, encompassing fundraising, structuring, transaction execution, and asset management.
– Offer expertise in legal, policy, reputational, and commercial considerations to ensure high-quality execution of transactions and protect the firm.
– Collaborate closely with bankers, professionals within the AWM Private Division, clients, outside counsel, and co-investors.
Job Requirements
? Japan-qualified attorney (bengoshi) with 5+ years PQE.
? Strong background in Corporate Finance law and/or Banking & Finance law, with experience in structuring and fundraising being advantageous.
? Previous experience with a reputable law firm or as in-house counsel.
? Excellent proficiency in English and Japanese
