Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Data Protection Specialist to join our highly-regarded in-house legal team at PwC. The candidate will be based in Hong Kong SAR.
Within this role you will be responsible for supporting and implementing all aspects of the firm’s data matters, including but not limited to Privacy & Data Compliance, Data Contracting, Personal data matters, Policies and templates, Data innovation & projects, Privacy impact assessments, and Legal research.
Job Requirements
? HK lawyer with 5-8 years of PQE.
? Practising in data protection with a top law firm or legal department of a leading MNC.
? A good knowledge on data protection laws of HK, PRC, EU and other major jurisdictions.
? Experience advising on AI and IP/IT regulations is a plus.
? LLM or above; Holding privacy and AI-related certifications will be preferred.
? Proficiency in English.
? Good Cantonese and Putonghua is an advantage.
? Excellent communication skills and able to interact with Senior Management.
