Jingtian & Gongcheng has hired three partners – Zhao Jun, Feng Chunxiao and Zhang Quansheng – to join its Chengdu office as a strategic move to develop services in the southwest region.
Zhao, who specialises in commercial litigation and arbitration, has been representing clients in investment, financing and technology cases. His clients include state-owned, foreign-invested and military enterprises.
He was formerly a partner at W&H Law Firm and is currently a member of the foreign-related legal services committee of the Chengdu Lawyers Association.
Feng – who focuses on private funds, investment financing and state asset supervision – has been advising clients on investment projects across the biopharmaceutical, semiconductor and new energy sectors.
He has also been providing legal consultation to state-owned asset supervision bodies and state-affiliated private equity firms. Previously, Feng practised at King & Wood Mallesons.
Zhang specialises in IP and competition law, M&A, and commercial dispute resolution. The patent agent is experienced in both IP litigation and non-litigatory matters, and is particularly skilled in handling cases involving trade secrets, patents and software copyright.
Prior to joining Jingtian & Gongcheng, he practised at King & Wood Mallesons and W&H Law Firm.
