JunHe has added veteran cross-border transaction lawyer Kenneth Zhou to advance the development of its international services.
Zhou brings nearly 30 years of experience to the PRC firm, and his areas of expertise include foreign investment, cross-border M&A, private equity investment, government regulation and compliance as well as data security.
He is qualified to practise law in China and New York, and is particularly skilled at providing legal services for Chinese companies expanding overseas as well as helping enterprises to build compliance frameworks.
Zhou was the last batch of partners at WilmerHale’s Beijing office before it closed last year, he was with the firm for 20 years. Prior to that, he worked at Paul Weiss’s New York, Hong Kong and mainland China branches.
Zhou’s transfer procedures are currently underway, and his title and office location are yet to be determined.
