Vietnam’s HM&P has strengthened its dispute resolution capabilities with the recruitment of Nguyen Ngoc Tra My as partner and head of litigation, supporting clients in managing domestic and cross-border conflicts.
Nguyen Van Phuc, managing partner at HM&P, told Asia Business Law Journal that digital transformation was one of the key trends in Vietnam, requiring law firms to adapt by offering specialised services to meet clients’ evolving needs.
“The government’s emphasis on digitisation has led to the enactment of strict data protection laws, forcing businesses to navigate complex compliance requirements,” said Phuc.
My takes the helm of HM&P’s litigation team, bringing 15 years of legal experience that spans complex commercial disputes, international arbitration and corporate advisory work.
In her new role, she is expected to lead efforts to deliver tailored litigation strategies for both Vietnamese and foreign clients.
