Wei Lee Lim has taken charge of Harneys’ dispute resolution practice in Singapore, effective 2 January 2026, marking the third addition to the firm’s Asia-based resolution team.

Her appointment follows the recent recruitment of Ilona Groark (November 2025) and Ben McCosker (October 2025) as partners in Hong Kong and Shanghai, respectively.

Lim succeeds Nicola Roberts, with her addition reflecting APAC’s growing demand for complex cross-border dispute resolution expertise.

“This has been driven in particular by shareholder disputes, insolvency and restructuring matters, and fund?related litigation with strong offshore elements,” Lishi Fong, Singapore managing partner, told Asia Business Law Journal.

Lim has ambitious plans for the next 12 months and beyond, aiming to position Harneys as the go-to firm for dispute resolution in Singapore and the Asia-Pacific region (APAC), and to strengthen its presence, particularly in Southeast Asia.

“I aim to leverage my understanding of the regional environment and regional disputes to grow and develop Harneys’ dispute resolution practice in APAC, and specifically in Southeast Asia,” she told ABLJ.

Lim joins Harneys after spending more than 17 years at WongPartnership and specialises in advising clients on various arbitration and litigation issues, including commercial, corporate, banking, and trust disputes, as well as fraud, insolvency, and cross-border trade and investment matters.
