Han Kun Law Offices has appointed Christine Kang, a cross-border dispute resolution specialist, as a partner in its New York office.

Kang brings extensive expertise in cross-border dispute resolution and international arbitration, primarily representing Chinese enterprises and their partners in overseas and multi-jurisdictional disputes. She also has substantial experience working on multilateral development bank projects, where she has represented companies in compliance investigations and acted as a compliance adviser to banks.

In arbitration, Kang serves as an arbitrator for several major international institutions and is widely recognised within this community.

Prior to joining Han Kun, Kang served as the chief representative of Hughes Hubbard & Reed in Beijing. Earlier in her career, she spent a decade as a partner at JunHe Law Offices.

Han Kun’s New York office was officially established at the end of 2023. Recently, the firm has been actively expanding its cross-border practice. This May, Han Kun welcomed Yin Can, an international capital markets expert who operates across Beijing and Hong Kong.
