Greenberg Traurig has hired Andrew Amos as a shareholder in Singapore to bolster its restructuring and private credit capabilities in Asia.

“As we accelerate our growth in Asia, and particularly in Tokyo and Singapore, Andrew [Amos] will be a key senior hire to begin the significant growth in these areas in Asia,” Richard Rosenbaum, executive chairman of Greenberg Traurig told Asia Business Law Journal.

Rosenbaum added that Amos would not only build a strong local and regional restructuring and private credit practice, but also play a key role in “integrating this Asian practice with the global firm”.

Amos was a director and head of restructuring at London-based global investment firm M&G for 14 years. He specialises in energy, mining, real estate, financial services and entertainment, and advises asset managers, funds and corporates on complex cross-border transactions, including private credit, capital solutions and restructurings.
