Chance Bridge Law Firm has hired Li Wanping as a partner at its Beijing headquarters, strengthening its capabilities in high-end dispute resolution and corporate matters.
Li focuses on civil and commercial litigation and arbitration. She has extensive experience in cases concerning corporate equity and control disputes, investment and financing conflicts, listing-related issues, disputes between enterprises and their upstream and downstream partners, intellectual property disputes and insolvency related matters.
Her representative cases include the control dispute involving 13 subsidiaries of Nam Tai Property and the battle for control of Arm’s China business.
Li also specialises in general corporate legal services, advising on corporate governance, compliance reviews, risk management and crisis communications. Her clients include multinational companies, state-owned enterprises, listed companies, commercial banks and financial investment institutions, covering sectors such as pharmaceuticals and real estate.
Before joining Chance Bridge, Li served as a partner at PacGate Law Group and later at Wangheng Partners, both based in Beijing. Earlier in her career, she practised at JunHe for more than a decade.
