Hylands Law Firm has hired real estate and construction legal veteran Sarah Gao as a partner to join its Beijing office.
With around 30 years of legal experience, Gao has been advising numerous real estate companies and was appointed as the public-private partnership legal expert at the Ministry of Finance.
She participated in various land development, corporate financing and rail transit projects, including the Beijing Sub-Centre Station Transportation Hub — the largest underground integrated transportation hub in Asia by floor area.
Gao also specialises in dispute resolution and is familiar with the energy and natural resources sector. She has been advising companies on their overseas oil procurement projects.
Prior to joining Hylands, she was a partner at Chance Bridge Law Firm and Anli Partners.
