Burgeon Law has secured the addition of Ketan Mukhija as a senior partner and Abhinav Agnihotri as a partner from Dentons Link Legal, diversifying several of the firm’s practice areas.
“This expansion has diversified the firm’s practice into areas such as projects and dispute resolution, along with a more robust corporate practice spanning almost all industry sectors,”said founder Roma Priya.
“I have confidence that Ketan and Abhinav are the right team members to accompany us in this transition.”
Formerly a partner at Dentons Link Legal, Mukhija specialises in M&A transactions, corporate restructurings, banking and finance, capital markets, competition law, intellectual property, and labour employment issues.
Mukhija has worked at Indian and international firms, including P&A Law Offices in New Delhi and Herbert Smith Freehills in London. He also served as senior vice president at the Kanoria Foundation, an infrastructure conglomerate.
Agnihotri, also a former partner at Dentons Link Legal for more than a decade, specialises in contentious matters related to construction, infrastructure, public law and white-collar crime. At Burgeon Law, he will build the dispute resolution practice.
The firm now has six partners.
