Delta Law Corporation, a boutique corporate and commercial firm, has launched in Singapore on 9 June 2025 with the aim of providing tech-driven legal solutions across the entire business life cycle.

“Our firm is strategically positioned to serve SMEs, startups, boutique professional firms and financial institutions, high-net-worth individuals (HNWIs), and foreign law firms seeking a Singaporean legal partner,” Delta Law co-founders Joshua Tan, Cephas Yee and Sean Lee, told Asia Business Law Journal.

Tan, Yee and Lee previously worked as partners at Aquinas Law Alliance and senior associates at BlackOak for several years.

Tan specialises in fintech, blockchain, deep technologies and e-commerce, while Yee has a deep knowledge in corporate and commercial disputes. Lee brings expertise in corporate finance, M&A and financial services regulation.

With the trio’s combined expertise, they launched Delta Law as partners and co-founders, alongside two associates who have joined them from Aquinas Law Alliance. They aim to assist clients in navigating cross-border transactions, corporate financing, structuring and dispute resolution, particularly those involving a Singaporean nexus.

While the firm embraces ambitions for regional collaboration, it remains focused on maintaining itself as a specialised boutique with four core areas: business establishment, growth through fundraising and M&A, dispute resolution, and business conclusion through liquidation, restructuring or sale.

Tan, Yee and Lee have seen a rapidly evolving regulatory landscape, businesses and investors tackling digital asset regulations, shifting trade tariffs, and advancements in deep tech intelligence. They emphasised that law firms must remain agile to adapt to these rapid changes.

On the disputes side, the trio notes that they’re observing a steady growth in international arbitration and cross-border conflicts, alongside a rise in family and trust disputes as Singapore cements its role as a private wealth hub.

“Similarly, in restructuring and insolvency, businesses are engaging the professionals more proactively with court processes to navigate challenges,” added the trio.

Delta Law plans to expand its team by welcoming one counsel and two lawyers at senior associate level in July. The firm is also actively recruiting junior lawyers and prospective trainees.

The trio is also in discussions to collaborate with their close counterparts at leading mainland Chinese law firms to engage them as consultants or advisers at Delta Law.

“This initiative comes in response to a noticeable increase in mainland Chinese businesses seeking to expand into the region,” said Tan, Yee and Lee.
