Baker McKenzie Wong & Leow, the Singapore member firm of global outfit Baker McKenzie, has added Shirin Tang and Ang Lip Kian, bolstering its transactional capabilities across Asia.
Tang, who previously served as managing partner at Morrison Foerster’s Singapore office and held several leadership roles within the firm, will join Baker McKenzie as co-head of the Singapore M&A practice. She will share the role with Boo Bee Chun.

Tang brings more than 20 years of experience in cross-border M&A and private equity transactions. She worked at Shearman & Sterling’s (now A&O Shearman) New York and Singapore offices for 10 years. Her practice areas include institutional real estate, e-commerce, life sciences and consumer sectors.
Ang, who also joins Baker McKenzie as a partner from Morrison & Foerster, represents international funds, multinational corporations and financial institutions in large-scale cross-border transactions. His practice spans various sectors, including real estate, fintech and life sciences, with a focus on emerging technologies and innovative business strategies.
