Jakarta-based law firm ARMA Law has appointed Neni Zunaini as its newest partner, taking charge of the firm’s private wealth practice.

“With Neni Zunaini joining the team, ARMA Law is strategically positioned to address the evolving landscape of private wealth management in Indonesia and the consequent shifts creating new legal needs and challenges for clients,” said ARMA Law’s managing partner Dewi Arum.

Zunaini, a former associate at MRP Law Office, brings more than a decade of experience in corporate law, private wealth, litigation and aviation law. This expertise, combined with her skill set in areas such as M&A, corporate restructuring, and governance international, including her legal studies in Germany, further solidified her value to the firm, Arum said.

Arum has also seen that the emergence of initiatives such as the Golden Visa programme and the development of a formal family office regime, coupled with the increasing use of trusts, presents complex regulatory hurdles and demands sophisticated wealth structuring solutions.

She added that Zunaini’s expertise would be crucial in helping clients navigate these intricate regulations, ensuring their assets were protected, and developing comprehensive succession plans that align with their long-term objectives.

Currently, ARMA Law’s Jakarta office has five partners, two of counsel and 12 associates.
