Commercial dispute resolution specialist Wu Bin has joined W&H Law Firm as a senior partner based in Shanghai.
Previously, Wu was a senior partner at Landing Law Offices, where he held key positions within the management committee and led the firm’s dispute resolution committee.
Wu focuses on corporate governance, investment and financing, financial asset management, real estate and construction engineering, as well as the resolution of major civil and commercial disputes.
In Shanghai’s high-profile case of Kuailu’s RMB43.4 billion (USD6.09 billion) illegal fundraising scheme, Wu defended Xu Qi, chairman of the group’s board of directors, resulting in a reduction of the expected life sentence to a 13-year prison term.
In January 2024, China Business Law Journal selected Wu as one of the winners of the A-List: Growth Drivers.
