Lifang & Partners welcomes its newest management committee member, Shi Bisheng, who joins the Beijing office as senior partner, and will play a part in the firm’s strategic development.
Shi was a former partner at Zhong Lun Law Firm and King & Wood Mallesons. He has spent more than a decade working as a judge at Haidian District People’s Court and High People’s Court in Beijing before switching lanes to become an external lawyer.
During his 20 years in the IP field, Shi has participated in drafting judicial interpretations concerning patent infringement, having handled more than 1,000 litigation cases involving patent rights, trade secrets, trademark rights and anti-unfair competition. His clients include a foreign semiconductor manufacturer, a telecommunications company and Chinese ride-hailing firm.
