Lifang & Partners has welcomed former ByteDance in-house counsel Qu Linggang, who is rejoining as a partner to enhance the firm’s strength in IP matters related to internet technology.
The Beijing-based Qu specialises in IP, competition law and compliance matters for internet and technology companies, including software copyright, trade secrets, and data compliance in the internet area.
Qu worked at the IP division of the Xicheng District People’s Court of Beijing before joining Lifang. After several years at Lifang, he moved to ByteDance.
