Jia Yuan Law Offices welcomes the addition of partners Zheng Huan and Zhou Liming to the firm, strengthening its financial and construction dispute resolution capabilities.
Zheng, who joins Jia Yuan’s Shenzhen and Beijing offices, previously practised at Baoying Law Firm and served as general manager of the legal compliance department at Minsheng Financial Leasing. He specialises in financial leasing, asset securitisation, project finance and non-performing asset liquidation, and has extensive experience in financial institution compliance and corporate governance, as well as advising on M&A, international trade and dispute resolutions.
Zheng is also qualified in the banking and securities industry in China and a certified anti-money laundering specialist.
Zhou, who will be based in the Shanghai office, previously practised at TianTong Law Firm as the senior counsel and head of construction and engineering. Zhou focuses on resolving disputes arising from construction and engineering, with expertise in determining legal relationships under construction contracts, construction costs, forensic appraisal of construction quality, and construction period claims.
