AnJie Broad Law Firm has hired Jessica Jiang as a partner at its Shanghai office, bolstering the firm’s capabilities in construction and project financing services.
Jiang, who has more than 10 years of experience, previously served as a senior counsel at the Shanghai-based Dianyun Law Firm. Prior to that, she practised at Zhong Lun Law Firm’s Shanghai office.
She focuses on construction and infrastructure legal services, with extensive experience in full-cycle risk management for engineering projects and complex dispute resolution. She regularly advises major developers, as well as infrastructure investors and constructors, with clients including Hongkong Land, IKEA, Chow Tai Fook and China Eastern Airlines.
Jiang holds dual bachelor’s degrees in engineering management and law. Drawing on her combined technical and legal background, she is adept at co-ordinating technical, contractual and commercial considerations to help clients maintain risk control and maximise commercial interests in complex projects.
She also has expertise in niche areas including inherent defects insurance for construction quality and engineering insurance. Combining practical engineering knowledge with an insurance law perspective, she is skilled in handling related claims and recovery mechanisms.
