Jia Yuan Law Offices has recruited Rachel Wang as a senior partner and Helen Liu as counsel, who both specialise in capital markets and M&A, and will be dually based in Hong Kong and Shanghai.
Wang was a former senior counsel at FenXun’s international capital markets team, with 18 years of experience in the legal sector.
The Chinese mainland, Hong Kong and New York-qualified lawyer has worked on numerous Hong Kong listings and bond issuances, and was hired by state-owned enterprises to advise on securities matters.
Liu, a Hong Kong-qualified lawyer, was a former associate at Baker McKenzie. She has advised corporate clients on fundraising, Hong Kong listings and global depositary receipts offerings on the SIX.
