Goodwin Procter has made two additions to its Hong Kong office to beef up its expertise in China and the region. Gloria Liu joins the firm’s business law department in Hong Kong as a partner specialising in PE and M&A.
Jay Chiu, who has worked as counsel in the firm’s litigation department in Los Angeles, is relocating to the Hong Kong office.
Liu joins Goodwin from the Hong Kong office of Paul Weiss Rifkind Wharton & Garrison, where she was a senior associate. She will focus on cross-border M&A, PE and venture capital, and foreign direct investment into China.
