Deacons has recently brought onboard Gillian Lam, who joins from Baker McKenzie, as a partner to strengthen the firm’s capabilities in litigation and dispute resolution.
Lam specialises in commercial litigation and international arbitration, such as disputes involving shareholders, trusts and private wealth, online fraud recovery, asset tracing, and commercial fraud. She has assisted multinational companies with compliance matters related to employment and anti-bribery.
As a qualified solicitor advocate, Lam is authorised to represent clients in the High Court of Hong Kong and the Hong Kong Court of Final Appeal, handling cases traditionally reserved for barristers.
Currently, Deacons’ litigation and dispute resolution department has 10 partners.
